I was looking through my cupboards..found a few books with sweet looking covers…
You know we used to have this AUTOGRAPH book thingy when we are in primary school?
DO YOU HAVE IT ALSO?
I fliiped through them, reminds me of many many memories from primary school days.
AND THERE WAS THIS SECTION WHERE, we always write about our friends.
We categorised them to GOLD,SILVER,BRONZE,HATES..OR
in descending order(100%-80%,80%-50%.and so on).
I find it very funny and stupid.ALRIGHT, we were still so young that time,how many years ago man.

As we grow older, we no longer categorise our friends.
(ALTHOUGH some still usese BFF.)
We only have either closer friends, or just some ordinary friends..

HOW MANY CLOSE FRIENDS DO YOU THINK ONE SHOULD HAVE?
My answer is ONE. One true friend, is enough.
A real friend doesn’t compare anything with you, doesn’t ask for any thing in return.
It’s useless even if you hae many thousands of friends.
I have a few whom I really like, because I can feel their care for me.

It kind of pissed me off. I’m being nice to ask how’s my friend, and she replied me like this, that’s all.

It would be nice when someone talks to you and you reply her/him in a more polite manner like,
“I’m Fine,how about you?”, “What are you doing lately?”….. etc…

Other than East Coast Park, I feel like going to Pulau Ubin.
I HATE THE SUN ALOT, DAMN MUCH, like AH LAW said,shoot the sun down.
BUT…I also need the SUN to boost up my immune system.
I’m really very very weak now.
I’m so worried about the damn Swine Flu.
Especially, I always sneeze!

I went to Pulau Ubin once only.And that was a geography trip with classmates & a teacher.
It was in my Secondary Two days.
We spent the whole day cycling there, and I was sun burnt. ):
But it was fun lah!
I even remembered I asked someone to fetch me.
Tired on him man, there is almost no smooth route at Pulau Ubin, everywhere are so rocky,
and so many steep slopes.

Then, for lunch, we ate at some “chi char” there I think(forgot already.).
But I remember we all had COCONUT DRINK!
The coconuts there were so big, and fresh..
So suitable for such a hot weather.

I really want to go back there again..
But I don’t think it is possible to come true.HAHA.
Because I have become so…. erm..how to say..
Like, scared of this and that. Then there are so much mosquitos there too..
IMAGINE if I go again now…
HOW MUCH SUN BLOCK AND MOSQUITO REPELLENT DO I HAVE TO SLAP ON!?!

Thinking of going there at night instead, but it will be damn dangerous.. HAHA
WHATEVER, East Coast Park is still more suitable for me. =p

Went to town just now to meet LXY for lunch.We had AYAM PENYET at Lucky Plaza!
HAHA. This time, I didn’t take the chilli as it is really too spicy for me liao ):
Then we went to SEPHORA. I finally step in after it’s opened for so long. =p
Saw this set of make up brush(around 5), diff usage, only $100.I forgot which brand..
And it’s so pretty, the metal part of the brush is in PINK, the colour of the fur is white,brown,pink too.Like different tones lah,and it’s so soft. BUT I controlled myself not to buy anything. (:

My roster for MAY is out.
There’s centrepoint,vivo,raffles city,tangs orchard…
Mainly town area lah.
Luckily only two days at raffles city. It’s so inconvinient for me to get there.
OKAY, there’s actually direct bus from my house to Suntec Convention Centre and I can walk to Raffles City by the underpass, BUT! I’m a NOOB, I don’t know how to walk the underpass.
AIYA,heck lah, shall see how then.
THEN ONE THING GOOD about working at vivo city is, it is SUPER NEAR my house.
Only ten minutes I’ll reach liao.
The Bad Thing is… I always go there to do my shopping ):

Finally, the two days of work at the so called “COUNTER” at Tangs Orchard is over..
I worked there yesterday and today.
Our Biotherm counter is at the cosmetics department(Level 1), because there is promo on the Homme’s range(Men’s range), so there was a temperory counter set up at the Men’s Department.
I was alone at that counter this two days.
Luckily, there is a chair for me to sit down, or else I will be tired to death.HAHA.
I sat for the whole day man.HAHA.
Sales was pretty good for me today.HEHE =D

Then there is this PHILIPPINO lady who came to me and asked, “WHERE IS TA-CA-SHI?”
I was like, “HUH?”, stunned. She pronounced THE CASHIER as TAKESHI(similar synonym), therefore I thought SHE asked me WHERE IS TAKESHI.HAHA,some misunderstanding lah.

I look good in what I wear & of course for work, so definitely I have to get AS MANY WHITE TOPS AS POSSIBLE. More money come in please! I realise that G200 sells pretty office wears, and nice white tops leh! And it’s not expensive too! So I got myself Two from there yesterday. Today, got another A|X tee shirt,but it’s very very sheer, but I die die want to get it.Don’t care man, and will just wear to work.
AND AND I must get a pair of White colour high heels for work too,hmm I’ll prefer a three inch one (:

Yesterday was a total suffering day for me!
I knew it already…Was already told that i have to give FLYERS outside TANGS ORCHARD.
You know the hardship of giving flyers?
How many thousands of rejects are there?And who will really bother to read?

One unlucky things was, I saw one of my secondary school ex classmate leh,and he recognise me.DAMN.
People who don’t know will think my job is forever giving flyer.Do you think I should dig a hole and hide myself in?Anyway, it was really hot outside, but luckily the rays didn’t get us…Still,we can’t see UV rays with our bare eyes what.So i slapped on alot of SUN BLOCK,which makes my face so white.HAHA.
Sheryl and us were really suffering throughout…We were hoping that time will pass faster. It’s like,the actual THREE MINUTES is TEH THOUSAND YEARS for both of us….I’m so glad that It’s all over.
I’m supposed to go again today, but I took MC(i have not see a doc yet btw.)
I really hate the sun, it is killing me, and I’m kind of allergic to it.Yesterday was really too heaty for me liao.
At the same time, I know it is irresponsible of me to inform the supervisor last minute, I don’t like to do such things,as it will bring bad impression for me too,but I didn’t have a choice.

I ate abit, but it was too spicy for me lah.But Eelin(the chilli eater), ate mine too.HAHA

When having lunch, Eelin asked me how do I save to get the thing I want.
So I told her,just work very hard lor.
Go out lesser, don’t spent unncessarily, like going to PUBS&CLUBS.HAHA.
You can spend generously on FOOD, and also can take cabs sometimes.
Go out lesser,just go to work can liao.You can definitely get what you want.HAHA

Anyway, I realised many things..
That’s so much difference between my previous work place and the current one.
And OBVIOUSLY, I don’t like the current one more.
For the previous work place, I only hate the UNIFORM we are wearing(really sucks),at least they changed to better ones now…
For the current one, I like the uniform and btw I’m wearing my own clothes lah.
OKAY,the ones I said above are about me being VAIN lah.HAHA.
Then… at the prevous work place, everything are so organised,they really do everything by the rules, go “law by law”.GET IT?
For here, everything are like in a mess, and I seriously think that there is a great problem with their way of hndling the paperwork all these… Although many of us tends to do things in our own way(a faster one lah or shortcut or just do for the sake of doing.) sometimes, BUT don’t you think that If we do things in the same sequence, organise ourselves, discipline ourselves, everything will go smoothly and easier too!
Hais, i really don’t know how to say man.
But I have to tolerate and learn. Every differnt job,different companies has their own “style” of working thing out. It’s already their “Culture” and difficult to change.
So by all means, I just have to work lor, Of course there are also advantages here lah.

I have to paint my nails when I go to work.
On my first day of work, I was caught for BARE NAILS.HAHA.
I really don’t like to paint on nail polish. And even If I paint, I only use dark colours,like
BLACK,DARK BROWN, RED.
But now I can’t, I can only use a colour that is as nude as possible,like Light Pink, Beige….
I MUST GET A BEIGE nail polish,I think it is way prettier than a light pink leh.TOTALLY not my style man.
Two nights ago, I quickly take my MUM’s nail polish(those she buy at a cheap cheap price ones ,I didn’t have time to go and get for myself lah,so just whack only.)
I Painted a very very light tone of pink,almost transparent,and a little bit shimmer.
I quite like this colour actually,because it is almost similar like those base coat or top coat.
The feeling of having nail polish on is real wierd and hard to mantain too.
So I wonder, should I do french manicure,with acrylic? I’m really scared it will bring discomfort for me leh.

This is the type I wanna do, not this green, I want something lighter like beige..HAHA.

I realise that many shops(that do manicure&pedicure), they uses OPI nail polish.
Is it very good? I know it isn’t cheap either. Last week I saw, it’s $30 for one.Should I get it?
Because I need a nail polish that is easy for me to apply on.
Many many nail polishs’ texture are so difficult to paint,eg, THE FACE SHOP’s….etc

AND AND!
I MUST get MORE WHITE TOPS..

Before I talk about how’s my first day of work,
I thought I should share this with you all…
HAHA..CURLERS!!
I went to sleep with curlers on two weeks ago(for that night only lah)…
The next morning, the hair looks so pretty.hehe.

Don’t put on the curlers when your hair is wet..
Don’t curl in to much of hair too,which means, just curl to three quarter of your hair length can already.
After putting on the curlers, just sprinkle a bit of water onto the part where the hair is not being curled.
Buy curlers with sponge,it will be more comfortable than those without sponge..or else you will have problem sleeping!haha.
The curls can last for the whole day,approximately about 12hours.
Put on some wax, or apply hair spray,it will be better. =)

Yesterday was my first day of work, was stationed at IS.
Worked together with Eelin.
Hmm, nothing much happened, as usual,it’s just work.
But I think the Isetan supervisor or whatever shit are really irritating people.
This AUNTY keep pestering me for name tag.It’s my first day of work,so I didin’t know about the name tag thingy lah.So I bought one, they print my name till super funny,M E LAI. My name is actually LAI MIN ER.
Whatever shit. Really hate the name tag as it is those safety pin type,which will cause so many bloody holes on my white top. If it is Biotherm’s uniform, I won’t give a damn shit.But I’m wearing my own tops leh,and they are not cheap.LOL. I asked my supervisor for a Bio- name tag instead,theirs is those magnet type,I don’t mind buying,but their name tag are only for full timers.=.=”’
So I had lunch together with Eelin.
She was craving for Curry Fish Head for a few days already..So I ate with her.
She told me a few people rejected her liao.HAHA.
So I’m a very kind soul lor.HAHAHA.
After searching high and low at Lucky Plaza, we finally settled down at LUCKY PRATA,first level.
The curry fish head cost us $30.HAHA.There wasn’t the “SMALL” choice for us,there’s only medium and large.So we ordered the medium one lor.

The pic don’t do justice,and I didn’t have time to take a better angle&view already, as we only have an hour of lunch break.THE FISH HEAD is VERY BIG one lor!
Eelin is a very brave girl,she eats the EYEBALL leh!WTH! I don’t mind people eating fish’s eyeballs,but yesterday’s fish head’s eyeballs are really big! I think the height of the eyeball is around TWO INCH! DAMN BIG! We ate till super super full, didn’t manage to finish eating it,really a waste.
The fish head was great, and PIPPING HOT! But I still prefer the one at Race Course Road,BANANA LEAF CURRY FISH HEAD. I shall bring Eelin there one day !(:
I think both of us were really crazy, it’s just a lunch break, and we had such a sumptuous meal! =p
Went back to counter with a really full&big stomach.
You know, Shu Uemura’s counter is just opposite us, and they have a new collection,
it really tempts me alot, a few times I want to walk over to take a look..but their CM don’t look friendly.
As work was kind of boring, so I’m like looking around lah.
Notice a few trans. at some cosmetic counters…Then M-A-C got so many staffs man! I think I saw around six lor! FAINTS.

Some time ago, I had lunch at Raffles Place..
They had this chicken rice called the YUEN YANG chicken rice..

Really very “YUEN YANG” hor.HAHA.
The outlook and presentation of it looks very nice..But the food taste normal only lah.
But I like the rice as it isn’t too oily.
It cost about $9 if I rememembered correctly.

Went to TAKA yesterday to have lunch with my dearest ST!
She slimmed down again! Still progressing man!
I’m so envy!

Now it taste tastier liao! HAHA…
